An Illinois native and Syracuse University graduate with a degree in sociology, Debbie began riding at a young age. When she was just 10 years old, she showed in the Regular Working Hunter Division at Madison Square Garden’s National Horse show. She made history in 1982 when she rode Spindletop Rocky Raccoon to an outdoor high-jump record, tying with Dennis Murphy at 7’8″ in Cincinnati. Stephens’ Centennial Farm is among the nation’s most successful show barns. Stephens has a keen eye for selecting talented young horses and an astute ability for developing a horse’s innate talents.
As one of the most successful Grand Prix riders in the USA, Debbie’s accomplishments and major wins continue to grow. Perfect Products is proud to have Debbie as part of the Featured Riders team, as she finds that the formulas greatly assist her horses in their performance.
